About
About Me
I’m Sarah (She/Her/Hers), certified Postpartum Doula, Lactation Educator in training, and mother of two.
I found my way to Doula work after the births of my sons but have truly always been a doula at heart. My greatest joy comes from nourishing families, building relationships, and helping my community.
My Approach
Like the moon, children go through phases and as parents, we have to learn as we go. Some days will be full and bright and others will feel dark and lonely. But remember, when you’re awake feeding your child at 3:00am and you look out and see the moon, you’re not alone. Think of how many other new parents are doing the exact same thing, looking at the exact same moon.
I approach doula work in a nonjudgemental way, meeting you where you are, and helping you reach your parenting goals. With my help, you’ll be able to rest and recover, bond with your baby, and receive educational, emotional, and physical support.
My biggest tips for new parents:
Everything with babies is a phase. What seems like the highest hurdle to jump over this week will soon be something of the past that you make jokes about at 2:00am.
Parenthood is hard but hopefully also so worth it. You are a new parent and your baby is a new person. You’re just getting used to each other, getting to know each other, and find your groove - and you will find it.
